Troubleshooting : Speaker not discovered by the Google Home App

If your Acton II Voice cannot be discovered by the Google Home App, the most likely cause is that the speaker is not in setup mode.

Follow these steps to connect them:

  1. Select Wi-Fi as the input mode by pushing the Source button on top of the speaker. Toggle the button until the Wi-Fi LED indicator is lit.

  2. Push and hold the Source button for three seconds to set the speaker in discoverable mode.

Connect to the same Wi-Fi network

The speaker and audio device must be connected to the same Wi-Fi network to be able to connect. Make sure that your device is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as the speaker was configured on.
