Troubleshooting : Bluetooth pairing

Short answer

If your device was previously paired, remove the speaker from your list of Bluetooth devices, and pair again.

There can be several reasons for Bluetooth pairing issues. Try these tips to solve it:

  • Check if your speaker is connected to another audio device. If so, disconnect and pair it again.

  • Turn the speaker off, wait for a full 10 seconds, and then turn it back on.

  • Make sure that Bluetooth is activated on your audio device.

  • Push the source button on the speaker to toggle between Bluetooth, RCA and AUX input and select Bluetooth mode. A lit indicator shows which source is selected.

  • Pair your device again by pushing the source button for 2 seconds until the Bluetooth indicator starts to blink. Select Stanmore III from your audio device’s Bluetooth list.

  • If the issue persists, perform a factory reset. This will return the speaker to its original settings, excluding any firmware updates.

Note: Stanmore III can be connected to two Bluetooth devices at the same time. Playing a connected Bluetooth device will make it the selected audio source, pausing any previously played audio on the second device.
