Raised in Virginia Beach, Steve Cook bought his first bass at the age of 13, armed with just $100. He's come a long way since then, playing for bass for country music star, Phil Vassar. Steve is a key figure in Nashville, playing regularly in the homeland of American music and even featuring in episodes of ABC's 'Nashville'. A bonifide bass oracle, Steve is not only an accomplished player but also a wealth of knowledge on equipment and playing techniques.
Steve plays through a WTP900 and two D410XLTs.
"As the bassist for Phil Vassar, Steve made headlines not only for his great bass playing but his surprise on stage proposal to his wife."
