Troubleshooting : No audio or Audio is too low
Short answer
Check the audio source selection, adjust volume on both the speaker and audio device, and if needed, restart the speaker or perform a factory reset.
There can be several reasons why there is no audio output from the Acton II Voice. Try these options to fix the problem:
The most likely cause is that the wrong audio source is selected. Check if your audio device is connected to the speaker, either by Bluetooth, Wi-Fi or AUX. Make sure that no other device connected to the speaker is playing music.
The volume on the speaker is too low. Try turning the volume knob to level 5, right in the middle. Level 5 is the default, or unity volume.
The volume on the audio source is too low. Try increasing the volume slightly.
There is a software issue. Unplug the speaker from the wall socket, wait for a full 15 seconds, then plug it in again.
If the issue persists, perform a factory reset. This will delete all user settings, and you need to set up the speaker again. Push and hold both the Source button and the Play/pause button for 7 seconds to reset the speaker.
