How to mute and unmute the microphone

Short answer

Push and hold the microphone button to mute or unmute Stanmore II Voice. The LED indicator will light orange when the microphone is muted.

Mute Stanmore II Voice Microphone

The microphones in the Stanmore II Voice can be temporarily turned off. Note that you cannot use Google Assistant while the microphones are muted.

  • Push and hold the microphone button on top of the speaker for 3 seconds to mute the microphones.

  • The LED indicator by the microphone button will light orange when the microphone is muted.

Unmute Stanmore II Voice Microphone

To turn the microphone back on:

  • Push and hold the microphone button for 3 seconds to unmute.

  • The LED indicator by the microphone button will turn off when the microphone is on.
