Troubleshooting : Bluetooth pairing

Short answer

If your device was previously paired, remove the speaker from your list of Bluetooth devices, and pair again

  1. Be sure the speaker is not already connected to a different Bluetooth device.

  2. Turn the speaker off, wait for a few seconds, and then turn it on again.

  3. Ensure that the source device has Bluetooth turned on.

  4. Press the SOURCE button to toggle between Bluetooth and AUX Audio Source and select Bluetooth mode. A lit indicator shows which source is selected.

  5. Pushing the source button for 2 seconds and the Bluetooth indicator starts to blink.

  6. Select ACTON III from your audio device’s Bluetooth list. You should also be able to hear the Marshall customized Bluetooth pairing sound.

Acton III can be connected to TWO Bluetooth devices at the same time. If a connected device is playing, a second connected device cannot start playing until the first device is paused.    If the issue persists, perform a factory reset. This will return the speaker to its original settings, excluding any firmware updates.
