There's something about festivals that we just can't seem to get enough of. What is it about the muddy fields, messy tents and sore feet that keeps us coming back for more? Maybe it's the fact that the music and the atmosphere is so awesome that we forget about everything else. Whatever the reason, one thing's for sure - we'll all be flocking to a festival this summer. There’s an eclectic mix of artists at this year’s NorthSide Festival, showcasing the very best old and new talent. Liam Gallagher, Bjork, Jimmy Eat World and Yungblud will all be taking to the stage.

If you love all things rock then this is the festival for you. Headlined by Avenged Sevenfold, Guns N’ Roses and Ozzy Osbourne, Download treats fans to the very best in the rock and metal scene. The Marshall family will be out in force over the weekend, including Less Than Jake, Milk Teeth, The Bronx and Black Veil Brides.

Isle of Wight Festival is celebrating its 50th Anniversary in style, with some huge names taking to the stage. Kasabian, Liam Gallagher, James Bay, Manic Street Preachers and Rews have all got slots at the big event.

Looking for a new way to celebrate the summer solstice? Why not head over to Reykjavík for a festival full of diverse music. As well as some great home grown bands, they’ve got Slayer, Stormzy, Clean Bandit and even Bonnie Tyler.

Catch some sun and enjoy fun live music in Portugal this month. Performances from Muse, Haim, Bruno Mars and Bastille are sure to get the crowd going.

One of the largest music festivals in Europe, Roskilde offers a fantastic mix of music from rock to reggae to pop. The year’s lineup includes Gorillaz, First Aid Kit, Mogwai, Stone Sour and St. Vincent.

Bonnaroo is so much more than a music festival. It’s got yoga, art installations and even a 5k race. Don’t worry, it’s got plenty of music too, with Muse, The Killers, Bon Iver and Alt-J all appearing on the lineup.

Whether you’re into indie, rock or hip-hop, there’s something for you at Firefly Music Festival. Don’t miss Arctic Monkeys, Foster The People, Kendrick Lamar and many more.

It’s time to give this legendary tour the send off it deserves. It might be the last ever cross-country event for Vans Warped Tour but that doesn’t mean its not going to be a good one. They’ve recruited All Time Low, Sum 41, We The Kings and Hatebreed onto the tour.

Arguably the greatest festival for extreme music, Hellfest delivers the very best of heavy metal and hard rock. The lineup is just as impressive as you’d expect with Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Marilyn Mansion and Alice In Chains.

This year’s TRNSMT Festival may be their biggest yet, with a great array of artists performing over the weekend. Stereophonics, Kodaline, Nothing But Thieves and Arctic Monkeys will all be making an appearance.
