Hard-Fi is an English indie pop band formed in Staines-Upon-Thames, Surrey, in 2003. This much respected outfit is led by lead singer/guitarist, Richard Archer, who includes a Marshall 1974X combo and 1962 'Bluesbreaker' combo in his sonic arsenal. Since the band's birth it has released three studio albums - two of which reached the prestigious Number One slot in the British charts: 'Stars of CCTV' (2005) and 'Once Upon a Time in the West' (2007). While the band cite soul and dance music as influences, others include the Clash, post-punk and indie. Hard-Fi released a greatest hits compilation in 2014 entitled 'Hard-Fi: Best of 2004 - 2014'.
