Formed in 2011, Brighton-based punk trio Gnarwolves are one of the hardest working young bands in the UK right now. Comprising guitarists/vocalist Thom Weeks, bassist/vocalist Charlie Piper and drummer Max Weeks, Gnarwolves have toured the UK several times over, on their own and in support of punk legends such as NOFX and Alkaline Trio, as well as hitting the festival circuit hard playing at Reading and Leeds Festivals in 2014, as well as the Slam Dunk Festival in 2013 and 2014.
A fan of a particularly unusual Marshall amp from the '80s, Thom notes: "I play in a punk rock band called Gnarwolves so I really like that hot classic rock crunch that you get from playing P90s through a Marshall. I play through a Lead Mosfet 100, which is a strange '80s Marshall that sounds like a JCM800 in a time warp. It's brilliant. I use a 1960A Marshall speaker cab. It has a really rich bottom end, which is great for playing live. Marshall 'til I die!"
