Marshall Records are proving to be an unstoppable force this month, first with their Eleven Seven distribution deal and now with their latest artist signing. Set on finding talented rock alumni to join their already impressive roster, the label came across the Northern Irish trio Therapy?. Having first hit the stage in 1991, there’s not much about hard rock that these guys don’t know. Their 1993 release ‘Troublegum’ was a chart success with a million sales worldwide, five Top 40 singles and a Mercury Music Prize nomination. Now, in 2018, the band are set to release their 15th full length album.

The creation of a new album meant calling on an old friend, heavyweight producer and mixer, Chris Sheldon. Chris, who worked on the hugely successful albums ‘Troublegum’ and ‘Semi Detached’, had semi-retired from production until the band came knocking at his door. The new material is set to explore what Therapy? call ‘a new age of anxiety’ and is sure to catapult the band back into the limelight.

Frontman, Andy Cairns, expressed his excitement about the signing:

“Therapy? are happy to announce that they’ve just signed a new record deal with the legendary Marshall Records. Having played their quality amps for years it made perfect sense to take the relationship even further and get involved with their record company. We feel that this will be a perfect home for our unique style of rock music and look forward to all the challenges and great music that lie ahead.”

Marshall Records are just as happy:

“Marshall Records are delighted to have Therapy? signed to our label. The band have been an important figure in the alternative music scene since their inception and continue to please their fans with their tireless work effort and stellar live performances.”

As if their year hasn’t been busy enough, Therapy? are gearing up for performances at Ramblin Man Fair, Amplified Festival and much more. To stay tuned with all the latest from Therapy?, click here.
