Troubleshooting : Bluetooth connection drops out

Short answer

The article provides troubleshooting tips for addressing Bluetooth connection dropouts on the Marshall Stanmore III.

  1. Be sure the speaker is not already connected to a different Bluetooth device.

  2. Turn the speaker off, wait for a few seconds, and then turn it on again.

  3. Ensure that the source device has Bluetooth turned on.

  4. Press the SOURCE button to toggle between Bluetooth and AUX audio and RCA source and select Bluetooth mode. A lit indicator shows which source is selected.

  5. Pushing the source button for 2 seconds and the Bluetooth indicator starts to blink.

  6. Select Stanmore III from your audio device’s Bluetooth list. You should also be able to hear the Marshall customized Bluetooth pairing sound.

Stanmore III can be connected to TWO Bluetooth devices at the same time. If a connected device is playing, a second connected device can not start playing until the first device is paused.    If the issue persists, perform a factory reset. This will return the speaker to its original settings, excluding any firmware updates.
