How to connect and pair

Short answer

You can connect to your Stanmore II Voice speaker wirelessly via Wi-Fi or Bluetooth, or by cable via AUX or RCA.

Connect via Wi-Fi (Spotify Connect)

Before starting, download the Marshall Voice app from the App Store or Google Play. Follow the in-app instructions to set up your speaker and connect it to Wi-Fi. Once your speaker is set up, follow these steps:

  1. Push the Source button on top of the speaker to select Wi-Fi as input source. Toggle until the Wi-Fi LED indicator is lit.

  2. Make sure that the audio device you want to use is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as the speaker.

  3. Open the Spotify® app on your audio device and start playing a song.

  4. Select Stanmore II Voice from the list of available devices.

Connect via Bluetooth

  1. Push the Source button on top of the speaker to select Bluetooth® as input source. Toggle until the Bluetooth LED indicator is lit.

  2. Push and hold the Source button until the Bluetooth LED indicator starts to blink.

  3. Enable Bluetooth on your audio device.

  4. Select Stanmore II Voice from the Bluetooth list and accept pairing.

  5. When your devices are connected, the Bluetooth LED indicator will stop blinking and remain lit.

Stanmore II Voice can store up to eight Bluetooth devices and tries to connect to the last connected device first. For example, if the speaker has been connected to the devices: A-B-C-D-E-F-G-H, device H is given first priority, while device A is given last priority.

Every time Bluetooth is selected, the speaker will try to auto-connect to devices within range.

Connect via AUX

  1. Connect a 3.5 mm stereo jack to the input labelled AUX on the top of the speaker.

  2. Connect the other end of the lead to the audio output on your audio device.

  3. Push the Source button on top of the speaker to select AUX as input source. Toggle until the AUX LED indicator is lit.

Note: Audio leads are not included with the Stanmore II Voice.

Connect via RCA

  1. Connect a lead with RCA Jacks to the inputs labelled RCA on the back of the speaker.

  2. Connect the other end of the lead to the output on your audio device.

  3. Push the Source button on top of the speaker to select RCA as input source. Toggle until the RCA LED indicator is lit.

Note: Turntable must be equipped with a RIAA preamplifier, otherwise a separate preamplifier is needed.
