Since 1962 we've had an impact on, not only, sound but also to the people behind the music. The first Marshall amp was created after young muscians visited Jim's shop in Hanwell in search of a new amplifer. When they couldn't find the sound they were after Jim and his team go to work and delivered. The Number 1 earned 23 orders on its first day in store and the rest, as they say, is history. Decades later, people are still using Marshall to achieve their desired sounds.

Marshall has been celebrated by some of the world’s greatest bands and musicians including Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Slash and Oasis. None of this, however, would be possible without founder and revolutionary, Jim Marshall OBE and his son Terry.
