The Croydon/Crawley three-piece initially drew heavily from the UK’s math-rock scene that was bubbling in the underground and released their debut album ‘Good Intent’ in 2015.
Excited by the idea of “playing musical tricks on people”, Press to MECO had to become “semi competent musicians to actually be able to pull it off,” according to Vocalist/Guitarist Luke Caley, while 2018’s ‘Here’s to the Fatigue’ was a coming-of-age record that saw them streamline their unique blend of emo, hardcore, pop and technical proficiency. It inspired the best year the band ever had, touring with Don Broco, Shinedown, Arcane Roots and Sikth, alongside a hectic festival season, critical acclaim as well as a headline run that “finally made us feel like a real band.”
Press To MECO released their third album ‘Transmute’ on Marshall Records in 2021 and was hailed their ‘most defined and dynamic record to date’ by DSCRVD Magazine.
