Therapy?

Three men stand on a field of red grass under a cloudy sky, all wearing dark clothing.

Northern Ireland's Therapy? was one of many bands that experienced success during the rise of Nirvana and grunge in the early 90s. The release of their EP ‘Shortsharpshock’ in 1993 catapulted them into the Top 40, peaking at number nine on the UK Singles Chart. However, the band distinguished themselves by outlasting the 90s grunge trend and subsequent sub-genres, consistently incorporating a wide range of influential references, including unexpected choices like Killing Joke, Hüsker Dü, and Buzzcocks, alongside more typical influences like Black Sabbath.

important Therapy? are in the
story of Irish rock, this represents
a less than gentle reminder" – IRISH TIMES
