How to connect and pair

Short answer

Connect to Acton II Voice via Wi-Fi, Bluetooth or AUX input. Toggle between sources using the SOURCE button.

Connect via Wi-Fi (Spotify Connect)

  1. Select Wi-Fi as the input. Push the SOURCE button to toggle between input sources.

  2. Connect your Acton II Voice to the same Wi-Fi network as your phone, tablet or computer.

  3. Open the Spotify® app on your audio device. Make sure it's connected to the same Wi-Fi as the speaker.

  4. Play a song and select Acton II Voice from the list of available devices.

Connect via Bluetooth

  1. Select Bluetooth® as the input. Push the SOURCE button to toggle between input sources.

  2. Push and hold the SOURCE button until the Bluetooth indicator starts to blink.

  3. Enable Bluetooth on your audio device (smartphone, tablet or computer).

  4. Select Acton II Voice from the Bluetooth list and accept pairing.

  5. The Bluetooth indicator on the speaker stops blinking and remains lit when the units are connected.

The Acton II Voice stores up to 8 (eight) Bluetooth devices and tries to connect to the last connected device first. For example, if the speaker has been connected to the devices: A-B-C-D-E-F-G-H, device H is given priority, while device A is given last priority.

Every time Bluetooth is selected, the speaker will perform an auto connection of devices within its range.

Connect via AUX

  1. Connect a 3.5 mm stereo jack to the input labelled AUX on the top of the speaker.

  2. Connect the other end of the lead to your audio device.

  3. Select AUX as the input. Push the SOURCE button to toggle between input sources.

Note: Audio leads are not included with the Acton II Voice.
