Troubleshooting : Bluetooth connection drops out

Short answer

Make sure that the speaker and audio device are within 10 meters of each other. Move the speaker further away from electrical devices that might interfere.

If your speaker’s Bluetooth connection is dropping out, there are a couple of likely causes and troubleshooting options you can attempt.

  • Move the speaker and audio device closer to each other. They need to be within 10 metres and unobstructed by obstacles such as walls and doors.

  • Move the speaker further away from electrical devices that use the same frequency range. Such as microwave ovens, wireless network adapters and fluorescent lights.
