The initial setup is very simple:

I. Open the charging case.

II. Press and hold the button on the bottom of the case until the LED turns to a slow blue pulse.

III. Select MINOR IV from your sound device's Bluetooth list.

IV. Download the Marshall Bluetooth app and follow the in-app instructions to complete the setup.

No, you can use Minor IV on its own, although the Marshall Bluetooth app gives you access to extra features, like adjusting your personal EQ settings and managing updates that keep your product up to date with our latest software.
