Troubleshooting : Speaker not turning on
If your Middleton speaker does not turn on, the most likely cause is that the battery has no charge.
Plug the speaker into a USB power source and make sure to use a charger with 5V and an amperage greater than 1A. If the battery doesn't charge, try using a different USB cable and charger.
If the issue persists, perform a factory reset.
Battery Charging Time
Full Recharge: Charging for 4.5 hours with a 5V, 3A charger provides around 20 hours of playtime (at 50% volume, bass, and treble).
Quick Charge: Charging for 20 minutes with a 5V, 3A charger provides 2 hours of playtime (at 50% volume, bass, and treble).
Check the Battery Level
On the top panel, there is a button for the battery level. When you press it, you can see the battery level on the LED bar. There will also be a sound (if the speaker is turned on) indicating when the battery needs to be charged.
If you’d like more detailed information about the battery level, you can check it in the Marshall Bluetooth app.
Standby Mode
If your Middleton speaker is not playing audio for more than 10 minutes, it will go into standby mode. Press any button to wake it up.
After 60 minutes, the speaker will power off to conserve battery life. Push and hold the control knob to turn it back on.
It is not possible to disable the standby or auto-off features.
