How to read the LED indicator
Short answer
When your Major IV are turned on and connected, the LED will be white. In Bluetooth pairing mode, it's blinking dark blue. When you charge, the colour shows the current battery level from green (100%) to red (under 20%).

Orange-Yellow: 60% to 80% battery
Orange: 40% to 60% battery
Orange-Red: 20% to 40% battery
Red: Under 20% battery
