Troubleshooting : Can't connect to the app

Short answer

Make sure that your device is paired with the speaker. If the issue persists, clean the bluetooth cache or perform a factory reset.

Pair your speaker with the app

  1. Pair your speaker with your audio device.

  2. Download the Marshall Bluetooth app.

  3. Push and hold the Bluetooth® button on your speaker until the LED turns to a slow red pulse. Select Emberton II from your audio device’s Bluetooth list.

  4. Open the Marshall Bluetooth app and tap on the + sign to add the speaker. During the connection process, a Emberton II [LE] pairing request pops up that must be accepted.

  5. Check if the firmware is up to date in the About section of the app.

Clear the Bluetooth cache

If the issue persists you can try removing the speaker’s name from the Bluetooth list and clear the Bluetooth cache on your phone.

  2. Select Apps.

  3. Click ⋮ to display your system apps.

  4. Select Bluetooth from the list of apps, then select Storage.

  5. Tap Clear Cache and exit your Settings.

  2. Tap on Bluetooth.

  3. Find Emberton II in the list and tap the i-icon next to it.

Perform a factory reset

If the problem still persists, perform a factory reset. This will return the speaker to its original settings, removing any firmware updates.
