Georgia Challinor

Georgia Challinor is a session drummer based in Brighton, UK. With over fifteen years of experience she started drumming at eight years old inspired by the likes of Zac Farro, Tre Cool and Travis Barker. Throughout her teenage years she found her feet touring in multiple bands establishing a name for herself as a one of the hottest in demand female drummers in England.

With a degree in ‘Drums and Percussion’ at British and Irish Modern Music (BIMM) Institute she gained some incredible exposure and opportunities performing for reputable music management, labels and A&R (Transgressive, Island Records, Syco Music) as well as regular radio play from the likes of Radio One and Triple J.

Georgia currently plays for emo acoustic artist Luke Rainsford who has appeared at festivals such as 2000 Trees and Slam Dunk and toured the UK, Europe and Canada. Georgia also recently started playing for BLEAK SOUL (Ben Langford-Biss, ex As It Is). She was also a finalist in the renown ‘Hit Like A Girl’ competition and received a special recognition award. Georgia is now the UK ambassador with Hit Like A Girl and continues to work with the organisation, encouraging women to play drums.
