How to connect a record player or turntable

Short answer

Use a lead with RCA jacks to connect to your speaker. The turntable must be equipped with an RIAA amplifier or connected via an external RIAA preamplifier or a turntable mixer.

  1. Turn the speaker on and set the volume to low or medium.

  2. Connect a lead with RCA jacks to the output of the turntable, RIAA amplifier, or mixer.

  3. Connect the other end of the lead to the inputs labeled RCA on the back of the speaker.

  4. Select RCA as the input source by pushing the source button on the speaker. Toggle the button until the RCA indicator lights up.

Note: Audio lead and RIAA amplifier are not included.
