The Silver Lines began as two pairs of musicians who came together after going through personal hardships. Their music is alluringly raw, and they maintain the DIY punk/garage ethos and an autodidact songwriting style. The Silver Lines want to keep the same feeling that all bands have when they first start to get together and make music – the feeling that anything can happen when it’s just a few mates versus the world.
They’ve had major national radio play, having been aired on BBC Radio 1, BBC Radio 6 Music and Radio X. The Radio X features include two X-posure ‘Hot Ones’ listings for their debut EP ‘SLEAZE’.
