How to charge the battery

The Kilburn II is equipped with an internal battery with more than 20 hours of playing time at mid volume. Charging the battery from empty to full takes approximately 2.5 hours.

Follow these steps to charge the battery:

  1. Gently pull open the silicone door on the the back of the speaker

  2. Connect the power cord to the back speaker.

  3. Connect the power cord to the wall socket. The battery charge is shown on the battery level indicator.

  4. When the battery is charged, unplug the speaker from the wall socket before unplugging the power cord from the speaker.

  5. Close the silicone door on the back of the speaker when you have finished charging the battery.

Voltage and power requirements

Always make sure that the power cable, plug and speaker are compatible with your mains supply and wall socket.

The Kilburn II is AC (Alternating Current) and can be used at 100volts to 240volts. This means it can be used all over the world unless the source is DC (Direct Current), in which case an inverter will be required.
