Troubleshooting : Speaker not responding
Short answer
Unplug the speaker for 15 seconds, then reconnect. If the problem persists, perform a factory reset.
If your Acton II Voice speaker is not responding, the likely cause is a software problem. Follow these steps to solve the issue:
Turn the speaker off.
Unplug it from the wall socket.
Wait for a full 15 seconds.
Plug it in again.
Factory Reset
If the issue persists, perform a factory reset to return the speaker to its original settings. This will delete all user settings and you need to set up the speaker again.
Follow these steps to perform a factory reset:
Press and hold both the Source and Play/Pause button for 10 seconds.
The Source LEDs will all flash quickly to confirm the reset was successful.
Remove Acton II Google Voice from your audio device's Bluetooth list.
Pair again by pushing and holding the Source button for 3 seconds, until the Bluetooth indicator starts to blink. Activate Bluetooth on your audio device and select Acton II Google Voice from the Bluetooth list.
